Regular Press Release Calendar of NBS in 2016

1. The date released in this table is data in the previous month, previous quarter or accumulated, and it is a preliminary plan, and might be adjusted.

2. The annual and quarterly press conference on economic situation will be held in January, April, July and October, the data of GDP, agricultural production, industrial production, investment in fixed assets, private investment in fixed assets, real estate development, investment and sales, total retail sales of consumer goods, and urban and rural residents’ income will be released in the press, the news on current or accumulated data of industrial production, investment in fixed assets, private investment in fixed assets, real estate development, investment and sales, total retail sales of consumer goods in December 2015, March, June and September in 2016 will be released simultaneously.

3. According to the statistical report system, industrial production operation, investment in fixed assets, private investment in fixed assets, real estate development, investment and sales, total retail sales of consumer goods, and industrial profits of enterprises above designated size in January will not be released in February.

4. Average price of food in 50 cities, monitoring data of the market price of important means of production in circulation will be released at 9:30, on each 4, 14, 24 of the month in principle, which will be postponed to the next business day in case of weekends or holidays. From February 1 to 10, data release will be canceled due to lack of access to price acquisition on February 10. The previous ten-day report will be released at 9:30 on January 5, May 5 and October 9.

5. The monitoring report of migrant workers in 2015 is expected to be released in April.

6. The annual average wage in 2015 of employed workers in urban non-private units, urban private units and survey units on the online reporting platform will be released in May.

7. Summer grain, early rice and national grain output will be released in the middle of July, at the end of August, and at the beginning of December respectively.

8. Bulletin on the preliminary verification data of GDP in 2015 is expected to be released in September.

9. Value-added of national cultural and related industries, value-added of national tourism and related industries are expected to be released in October.

10. The Communiqué on the Funding of Science and Technology in 2015 is expected to be released in October.

11. The data of key indicators in the database of NBS (http://data.stats.gov.cn/) will be updated after data release, and the data of all indicators will be updated in 3 workdays. The annual data of key indicators will be updated at three times, meaning that the key data will be updated 5 workdays after the release of the Statistical Communiqué of the People's Republic of China on the 2015 National Economic and Social Development and the publication of the China Statistical Abstract 2016, the key data of quick searches will be updated after the publication of China Statistical Yearbook 2016, and all data will be updated 3 months later.
