Kang Yi Met with with Aleksandr Chervyakov, Belarusian Ambassador to China
On the afternoon of April 9, Kang Yi, Commissioner of the National Bureau of Statistics of China (NBS of China), met with Aleksandr Chervyakov, Belarusian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to China, and his delegation.
At first, Commissioner Kang Yi extended a warm welcome to Mr. Aleksandr Chervyakov and his delegation. He noted that with the strategic leadership of President Xi Jinping and President Lukashenko, the all-weather and comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Belarus maintains a sound development trend. Furthermore, the two countries have witnessed frequent exchange of high-level visits and fruitful outcomes in cooperative fields. He also expressed that the NBS of China stands ready to strengthen communication and cooperation with Belarusian statistical agencies to boost the common development of statistical courses in both countries.
Mr. Aleksandr Chervyakov expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of the NBS of China. He indicated that statistic serves an important function in the economic and social development. In addition, he hoped that the two countries enhance their cooperation in the statistical field to open a new chapter for the aspect.
They also exchanged their opinions on digital economy, carbon emission statistics, and other topics.
