The Delegation of Nielsen Group Visited NBS

Mr. Xie Hongguang, Deputy Commissioner of NBS, interviewed the Delegation of Nielsen Group headed by Mr. Mitch Barns, President, The Nielsen Company Greater China, on December 16.

Mr. Xie Hongguang expressed his welcome to the Delegation, and introduced China's current economic situation. Mr. Xie pointed out that, although the world economic is stagnant, but also the time for entrepreneurship training, enterprises should have perseverance and integrity of spirit. The future of China’s economic development has great spaces, we have to adopt a positive attitude during the difficult period, and overcome the difficulties all together. Nielsen Group and China Economic Monitoring and Analysis Center (CEMAC) have established good pre-cooperative relations, and will be carrying out an in-depth cooperation.

Mr. Mitch Barns summed up the pre-cooperation carried out with CEMAC, and the effect was excellent, the survey results were true and reliable with widely praised from the users. He also introduced various new businesses developed in China by Nielsen, and hope that will develop cooperation in more fields with CEMAC.

Messrs. Yao Jingyuan, Chief Economist; Chen Quangen, Counselor, Department of International Cooperation; Xu Tiefu, Director-General, and Pan Jiancheng, Deputy Director-General of CEMAC, NBS, also participated the meeting.
