Under-Secretary-General of UN Paid a Visit to NBS

Ms. Zhang Guorong, Member of Party Group, and Group Leader of Discipline Inspection Group of the Party Group of NBS, interviewed the Delegation headed by Mr. Sha Zukang, Under-Secretary-General of UN, on September 21.

Ms. Zhang Guorong expressed warm welcome to Mr. Sha Zukang, and introduced the Trust Fund Project between NBS and UN, as well as the progress of the Training Center Project in developing high-level statisticians in Beijing, and described importance of the project. Mr. Sha Zukang put forward suggestions and expressed support for the projects.

Mr. Sha paid a visit to the Statistical Education Center (Training Institute of the National Bureau of Statistics) of NBS in the afternoon.
