Delegation of General Statistics Office of Vietnam Visited NBS

August 27 to September 2, 2006, a delegation of 7 members,  headed by Mr. Vu VanTuan, Director of Department of Industry and Construction Statistics of General Statistics Office of Vietnam visited NBS. The delegation was interested in: general information about statistical system of China, functions and duties of the Department of Statistics of Industry and Transport, how to link data collected from different resource, direct reporting system of enterprises by website, application of scanning technology for data processing, management of website, and statistical methodologies and standards.

Mr. Zhao Maohong, Deputy Director-General of Statistical Library and Information Services Center briefed the delegation with the management of website of NBS. Persons in charge of relevant departments met and discussed on the topics interested by the delegation.

Mr. Du Weiqun, Acting Director-General of Department of International Cooperation, Mr. Zhang Jun, Deputy Director-General of International Cooperation Department, and Mr. Liu Fujiang, Deputy Director-General of Department of Industry and Transport Statistics, and relevant specialists attended meeting.
