A five-member delegation headed by Mr. Takehito Sato, Minister’s Secretariat from Ministry of Finance of Japan and Mr. Masakazu Sato, First Secretary of Japanese Embassy in Beijing visited NBS on January 10, 2006. The purpose of the visit is to discuss issues about GDP, fixed assets investment statistics, economics climate indexes and price indicators. Mr. Zhang Jun, Deputy Director-General of Department of International Cooperation, chaired the meeting and the experts from Department of National Accounts, Department of Investment and Construction Statistics, Urban Survey Department and China Economic Monitoring and Analysis Center gave detailed explanations to the issues concerned and answered questions raised by the delegation.
