Statistical Mission from National Statistical Office of Korea paid a visit to NBS from November 26 to December 3, 2005. The Mission was composed of five members, headed by Mr. In-Keun Choi, Director-General, Economic Statistics Bureau, KNSO. The Topic to be discussed during the visit was 2005 Economic Census in China, Statistics Policy and Financial Conditions, Transport Statistics.
On the morning of 28 November, Mr. Zhang Weimin, Deputy Commissioner of NBS met with the Mission and made a brief introduction on the statistical system of China and answered the questions concerned by the Mission. Related staff from Department of Finance and Construction, Census Center and Department of Industry and Transport Statistics participated in the discussion with the Korean Mission. After the activities in Beijing, the Mission has started its visit to Shandong Province.
The other members of the Korean Mission are: Mr. Chang-Ho Jung, Director, Statistics Analysis Division, Economic Statistics Bureau, Mr. Man-Ki Baek，Section Chief, Budget & Planning Division, Mr. Kwan-Bong Choi, Deputy Director, Service Industry Statistics Division, Economic Statistics Bureau Mr. Jong-Goo Kim, Deputy Director, and General Services Division.
