In November, the policy of ensuring supply and prices of energy has been vigorously promoted, and the advanced energy production capacity has been released in a steady and orderly manner. The production of raw coal, crude oil, natural gas and electric power of industries above designated size kept a year-on-year growth. Compared with October, the growth rate of raw coal and crude oil accelerated, while that of natural gas and electric power was slowed down.

I. Raw Coal, Crude Oil and Natural Gas Production and Relevant Information

The growth rate of raw coal production was accelerated, and the import changed from increasing to decreasing. In order to keep warm and supply this winter, raw coal producers continue to increase production and supply. In November, 390 million tons of raw coal were produced, a year-on-year increase of 3.1 percent, 1.9 percentage point faster than that of the previous month, and the average daily output was 13.04 million tons. The import of coal was 32.31 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 7.8 percent, a increase of 9.0 percent in the previous month.

From January to November, 4.09 billion tons of raw coal were produced, a year-on-year increase of 9.7 percent. The imported coal was 260 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 10.1 percent.

Crude oil production increased steadily, and the import kept a rapid increase. In November, it produced 16.78 million tons of crude oil, a year-on-year increase of 2.9 percent, 0.4 percentage point faster than the previous month, and the average daily output was 559,000 tons. The import of coal was 46.74 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 11.8 percent, 2.3 percentage points slower than the previous month.

From January to November, it produced 187.77 million tons of crude oil, a year-on-year increase of 3.0 percent. The import of crude oil was 460.26 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.4 percent.

The growth of crude oil processing volume was slightly slowed down. In November, 59.61 million tons of crude oil were processed, a year-on-year increase of 0.3 percent, 0.5 percentage point lower than that of the previous month, and the average daily processing was 1.987 million tons. From January to November, 615.99 million tons of crude oil were processed, a year-on-year decrease of 3.9 percent.

The growth rate of natural gas production was slowed down, and the decrease in imports was significantly narrowed. In November, it produced 18.9 billion cubic meters of natural gas, a year-on-year increase of 8.6 percent, 3.7 percentage points lower than last month, and the average daily output was 630 million cubic meters. The import of natural gas was 10.32 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.9 percent, a decrease of 14.5 percentage points from the previous month.

From January to November, 197.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced, a year-on-year increase of 6.4 percent. The imported natural gas was 99.01 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 9.7 percent.

II. Electric Power Production

The power production was slowed down. In November, the power generation was 666.7 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 0.1 percent, a decrease of 1.2 percentage points over the previous month, and the average daily power generation was 22.22 billion kwh. From January to November, the power generation was 7.6 trillion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 2.1 percent.

From the perspective of varieties, in November, the growth of thermal power, wind power and solar power slowed down, the decline of hydropower narrowed, and the growth of nuclear power accelerated. Among them, thermal power increased by 1.4 percent year-on-year, 1.8 percentage points slower than last month; wind power increased by 5.7 percent, 13.5 percentage points slower than last month; solar power generation kept flat year-on-year, 24.7 percentage points slower than last month. hydropower decreased by 14.2 percent, 3.5 percentage points lower than last month; nuclear power increased by 11.1 percent, 3.7 percentage points faster than last month.

Annotations:

1. Explanatory Notes

Average daily product output: It is calculated by dividing the total output of Industrial Enterprises above the designated size announced in that month by the calendar days of that month.

2. Statistical Coverage

The statistical caliber of the output data in the report is above the designated size of industry, and the statistical scope is industrial enterprises with annual main business income of more than 20 million yuan.

Because the scope of Industrial Enterprises above the designated size changes every year, in order to ensure that this year's data is comparable with the previous year's, the same period used to calculate the growth rate of various indicators such as product output is consistent with the statistical scope of enterprises in this period, and there is a caliber difference between the data released last year.

3. Data Source

Import data comes from the General Administration of Customs, of which November data are express data.

4. Conversion relationship of natural gas units: 1 ton is equal to 1380 cubic meters.
