Value-Added of the Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size Expanded in July

In July, value-added of the industrial enterprises above designated size (all state-owned enterprises and non-state-owned enterprises with an annual income over 5 million yuan) expanded 14.7 percent, year-on-year, while that dropped 3.3 percentage points over the same period of previous year.

In terms of main sectors, the growth rate of textile industry increased 10.0 percent, that of raw chemical materials and chemical products, non-metal mineral products industry, smelting and pressing of ferrous metals industry, general equipment manufacturing industry, transportation equipment manufacturing industry, electric machinery and equipment manufacturing industry, telecommunication, computer and other electric facilities manufacturing industry, and production and supply of electric power and heat power expanded 15.5, 15.5, 13.9, 18.4, 15.8, 17.2, 16.5 and 10.6 percent, respectively.

In terms of main products, the coal, crude oil and electricity reached 220, 16.17 million tons and 319.5 billion kilowatt-hours, up by 10.9, 5.0 and 8.1 percent respectively, year-on-year; that of pig iron, crude steel and rolled steel achieved 41.98, 44.89 and 51.01 million tons, rose by 4.9, 7.5 and 7.0 percent respectively; that of cement was 120 million tons, up by 6.3 percent; that of vehicles was 757 thousand sets, up by 13.2 percent, of which, automobiles was 413 thousand sets, jumped by 8.0 percent.

The sales ratio of industrial products was 98.10 percent, down 0.23 percentage points with the same period of last year. The export delivery value of industrial enterprises reached 697.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.4 percent.

From January to July, value-added of the industrial enterprises above designated size expanded 16.1 percent, year-on-year.
