Value-added of Industry Increased 16.7 Percent in July

In July, the total value-added of the industrial enterprises above designated size (all state-owned enterprises and those non-state-owned enterprises with an annual sales income over 5 million yuan, same as follow) reached 720 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.7 percent. The sales ratio of industrial products was 98.29 percent, a year-on-year decrease of 0.32 percentage points. The export delivery value of industrial enterprises accounted for 487.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 21.8 percent.

In terms of different sectors, textile industry increased 4.2 percent, the raw chemical materials and chemical products grew 18.8 percent, non-metal mineral products rose 22.4 percent, the smelting and pressing of ferrous metals up 25.1 percent, general equipment manufacturing increased 22.2 percent, transportation equipment manufacturing rose 18.5 percent, electric machinery and equipment manufacturing grew 14.8 percent, communication facility, computer and other electronic equipment manufacturing increased 19.7 percent, the production and supply of electric power and heat  rose 11.6 percent.

In terms of different products, coal , crude oil and electricity were respectively 168 million tons, 15.74 million tons and 251.7 billion kilowatts hours, increased 9.7, 1.9 and 13.5 percent; year-on-year. The production of pig iron, crude steel and rolled steel reached 34.71 million tons, 36.09 million tons and 38.66 million tons respectively, and 22.9, 22.2 and 22.5 percent; cement reached 107 million tons, an increase of 19.6 percent; motor vehicles stood at 530 thousand sets, grew 10.4 percent, of which, saloon cars reached 310 thousand sets, up 17.2 percent.

The accumulated total value-added of the industrial enterprises above designated size from January to July reached 4695.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17.6 percent.
