“China Compendium of Statistics 1949-2004” has been published. It is compiled by Department of Comprehensive Statistics of National Bureau of Statistics of China. It is a Chinese-English version book with full accurate reliable and authoritative data. It reflects the economic and social development of China as a whole and its 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities under the direct jurisdiction of the central government between 1949 and 2004; and that of Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR since their return to the mainland.
