Saloon Car Production Kept Increasing in October
According to statistics from NBS, the total output of saloon cars in October reached 245.4 thousand, a year-on-year growth of 67.6%. In the first 10 months of this year, the total output of cars stood at 2,358.8 thousand, a year-on-year change of 21.5%.
The growth rate of saloon cars created new level in a year-on-year change in October of this year, the main reason was due to the lowly outputs of last October for the whole year. Due to the sales volume of saloon car enterprises generally dropped compared to September, additionally the stock pressure accumulated in third quarter, saloon car enterprises obvious underproduction nearly 25000 as compared with in September, the production dropped nearly 10%. Mainstream enterprises such as South and north Volkswagen, Tianjin Xiali, Guangzhou Honda, Beijing Hyundai, Dongfeng Nissan, and etc were underproduction about 30%.
In October, the decreased sales volume link of saloon cars indicated the saloon car enterprises have not achieved the anticipated sale goal before the National Day to the market; moreover, Toyota, Reiz, and so on the new vehicle types have obviously influences to the relevant vehicle type, the sales volume obviously glided down. It is worth pointing out that, the saloon cars’ underproduction scope in October is bigger than the scope which the sales volume dropped, many mainstreams saloon car enterprises were underproduction initiatively. In October, it has 2/3 saloon car enterprises were underproduction, and reduced the stocks simultaneously; the partial enterprises have reduced pressures on stocks.
Therefore, saloon cars low outputs were different as compared with last October, the productive ratio of saloon cars of this year dropped with reasonable factor of certain seasonal adjustments. Moreover, differ with the phenomenon of waiting for purchase of last year, consumers were gradualness and constitutively, and also with light impacts to the market. Estimate the saloon cars outputs will appear the rise tendency in November, but with not too big possibility of continues to recede.
