The Per Capita Disposable Income of Urban Residents Kept Fast Pace in First Three Quarters

The sample survey results which was obtained from 54500 sample urban households indicated that, in first three quarters, the per capita disposable income for urban households was 7902 yuan, an increase of 11.7 percent compared with the same period of the previous year, and a real increase of 9.8 percent after deducting the price factor. The increase rate was 2.8 percentage points higher than that of the same period of the previous year. The per capita expenditure was 5950 yuan, up by 10.7 percent, and a 8.8 percent real increase after deducting the price factor. The growth rate was 2.3 percentage points higher.

Among the income of urban residents, per capita salary income was 5861 yuan, up by 9.3 percent; per capita net operational income was 505 yuan, increased by 38.1 percent; per capita transfer income was 1995 yuan, up by 15.0 percent; per capita property income was 143 yuan, up by 17.2 percent.

Among the expenditure of urban residents, food expenditure increased 8.8 percent, of which, expenditure in meat, egg and aquatic products, catering service, grain and oil, and vegetables increased 9.1, 15.5, 2.6 and 5.7 percent respectively. The expenditure for clothing increased by 15.6 percent. The expenditure for family equipment and services up by 9.4 percent. The expenditure in medical care and health increased by 15.3 percent. The expenditure in transportation and communication rose by 18.4 percent, of which, expenditure in transportation increased 30.3 percent, that of communication increased 8.3 percent. The expenditure in education, culture, recreation and services increased by 5.0 percent. The expenditure in housing up by 9.8 percent. The expenditure in other goods and services increased by 14.4 percent.
