The Value-added of Industry Increased 14.8 per cent in November

In November, the total value-added of the industrial enterprises above designated size (all state-owned enterprises and those non-state-owned enterprises with an annual sales income over 5 million yuan, same as follow) was 508.4 billion yuan, increased 14.8 per cent over the same month of the previous year.

Heavy industry grew at a fast pace. The total value-added of heavy industry was 344.0 billion yuan, up by 16.4 per cent. Some important raw materials and mechanics, electronics maintained fast growth. Crude steel, steel products and pig iron increased by 21.2 per cent, 23.5 per cent and 30.6 per cent respectively. Aluminum oxide was up by 14.8 per cent, The production of 10 kinds of nonferrous metals went up by 12.7 per cent; Metal cutting tools and power generating equipment was up by 48.2 per cent and 81 per cent, micro computer, monitor and printer was increased by 33.4 per cent, 38.9 per cent and 75.4 per cent respectively. The automobile industry's growth still kept lower pace after July, went up by 5.9 per cent, of which, car output was down by 5.7 per cent. The total value-added of light industry was 164.4 billion yuan, an increase of 13 per cent.

Main energy production accelerated. Electricity generated for the whole year was 185.9 billion kilowatt-hours, up by 14.4 per cent. Crude oil and natural gas output reached 14.52 million tons and 3.73 billion stere, up by 2.5 per cent and 23.9 per cent respectively. Coal output was 1,437 million tons, up by 12.9 per cent.

The value of industrial productions’ exports kept fairly fast growth. Industries completed exports was 353.0 billion yuan, up by 32.4 per cent. Accoding to account, the contribution ratio of industrial growth by exports was about 24.2 per cent, forced industrial sector up by 3.6 percentage points.

The connection of produce and sale kept high level. The sales ratio of industrial production was 98.01 per cent, up by 0.48 percentage points higher than that in the previous year, 0.38 percentage points lower than that in the October.

Accumulative from January to November, the total value-added of the industrial enterprises above the designated size was 4891.1 billion yuan, up by 16.8 per cent.
