18th International Roundtable on Business Survey Frames

Session 7: Technological Tools and Techniques for Improving the Business Register

 Call for Papers

Business Register system enhancements have been an important topic for the International Roundtable on Business Survey Frames in recent years.  Statistical organizations continue to implement significant technological improvements and enhancements to their systems in order to improve the quality of information provided by the BR and to better serve data users.  In some cases, new systems are being implemented with new hardware, software, data models and system administration designs that provide improved functionality.  In other cases, existing systems are being enhanced with new features providing easier access to source data and more effective use of existing BR information.  Roundtable participants are interested in learning about enhancements developed and implemented by other organizations as they plan similar improvements to their own BR systems.

Roundtable participants are invited to submit papers to Session 7 which describe recent technological and/or application advancements in Business Register systems, utilization of data warehousing, source data access, record linkage, data models, system administration designs, or data display which have improved the quality of information provided by their Business Register.  Please submit an abstract of your paper to Bill Iwig (biwig@nass.usda.gov) and to the 18th International Roundtable (18roundtable@stats.gov.cn) by July 20.
