I. Main Contents and Scope of Statistics

Data in this chapter describeactivities of real estate development enterprisesduring a given period of time, and reflect total size and completed investment, actual funds in place, floor space and cost of buildings constructed, floor space started in the year, sales of commercial buildings, assets and liabilities, and operation status of real estate developers during report period.

Data in this chapter covers all corporate units with development and operating activities engaged in real estate development.

II. Sources of Data

Data in this chapter are collected and compiled in accordance with the Statistical Reporting System on Real Estate Developmentcollected through comprehensive survey.

III. Explanation of Data Situation

This document has revised the data on indicators such as real estate development investment and sales area of newly-builtcommercial housing since 2010. The main reason is: (1) strengthen the review of real estate development projects under construction, and eliminate non real estate development projects such as pure primary land development. (2) Strengthen the review of sales data for commercial housing, exclude non commercial housing sales data such as check-out and those with mortgage properties. (3) strengthen statistical law enforcement and made corrections to the problem data discovered in accordance with relevant regulations.
