I. Main Contents and Scope of Statistics

Data in this chapter describe activities of real estate development enterprises during a given period of time, and reflect the development and purchase of land, total size and completed investment, actual funds in place, floor space and cost of buildings constructed, floor space started in the year, sales of commercial buildings, assets and liabilities, and operation status of real estate developers during report period.

Data in this chapter covers all corporate units with development and operating activities engaged in real estate development.

II. Sources of Data

Data in this chapter are collected and compiled in accordance with the Statistical Reporting System on Real Estate Development collected through comprehensive survey.

III. Explanation of Data Situation

This document has revised the data on indicators such as real estate development investment and sales area of commercial housing since 2010. The main reasons are as follows: (1) strengthen the management of inventory projects and revise the sales data of returned commercial housing. (2) strengthen statistical law enforcement and made corrections to the problematic data discovered during statistical law enforcement inspections in accordance with relevant regulations. (3) strengthen data quality management and eliminate non real estate development project investments and sales data with collateral properties.
