I. Main Contents

Data in this chapter mainly reflect the development of health, social services, and work for persons with disability.

Data on health include mainly the number of health care institutions, health personnel, health services, health facility, maternal and child health care, disease control and health expenditure.

Data on social services include the statistics of social organizations and autonomous organizations, beds of civil affairs institutions, social assistance, orphans and children adoption registration, marriage registration service, medical aid, and welfare lottery.

Data on work for persons with disability cover information on the rehabilitation, education, employment, social security, rights protection and organizations development.

II. Sources of Data

Data on health are provided by the National Health Commission. Data on social services are provided by the Ministry of Civil Affairs and National Healthcare Security Administration. Data on work for persons with disability are provided by the China Disabled Persons’ Federation.
