Brief Introduction

I. Main Contents

This chapter contains information that reflects natural resource conditions and the development of ecological environment protection in China.

Data on natural resources cover land condition, water resources, forest resources, mineral resources and meteorological phenomena.

The development of ecological environment protection mainly include water supply and utilization, discharge of waste water and key pollutants in waste gas; treatment and utilization of solid wastes; urban air quality; collection, transport and disposal of consumption wastes in cities; monitoring of urban road traffic noise and environmental noise in major cities; afforestation, grassland construction and natural protection; incidences of geological, seismic, marine and forest disasters, environmental emergency; investment in environment pollution treatment, etc.

In this paper, data of pollutant emission in 2017 are preliminary data, and the data of 2018 will be released uniformly after the completion of the second national pollution source census.
