annual income of main business at and over 2 million yuan.

Sources of Data
Data in this chapter are collected and
compiled according to the Statistical Reporting Form System on Program on
Hotels and Catering Services. The data on tourism are from the Ministry of
Public Security and State Tourism Administration.

Methods of Survey
Data on the enterprises of hotel and
catering services above the designated size and chain catering services are
from the comprehensive reporting form system. Data on the enterprises of hotel
and catering services below the designated size and self-employed households
are calculated according to the results of sample survey. The data on tourism
are from the comprehensive reporting form system except those on the earnings
from international and domestic tourism and number of domestic tourists going
abroad from sample surveys.
