Brief Introduction

I. Main Contents

Data in this chapter mainly reflect the development of public health, civil affairs, labor and social security.

Data on public health include mainly the number of health institutions, health personnel, health facility; health expenses, medical services, rural and community health, maternal and child health, people's health, major diseases as the causes of death, and health security system.

Data on civil affairs and labor and social security include: institutions, personnel and beds of social services， social welfare relief, community service facilities and rural network of social security, marriage registration service, funeral and interment services, social donations and welfare lottery, retirement pensions, arbitration of labor disputes, etc.

II. Sources of Data

Data on public health are mainly from the Information Center under the Ministry of Health. Data on civil affairs, labor and social security are from the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security based on statistical reporting form scheme.
