CHINA STATISTICS PRESS
China Statistics Press,
established in 1995, is a specialized publisher under the National Bureau of
Statistics, the People's Republic of China. There are 11 branches subordinated
to the Press, including the General Office of Administration, Office of the
Editor-in-Chief, Financial Department, Publishing Affairs Department, Marketing
Department, Periodical Editorial Department, Statistical Data Editorial
Department, the Second, the Third and the Fourth Book Editorial Departments.
With its emphasison the China Statistical
Yearbook and China Development Report,
the Press produces a variety of publications in economics and statistics in the
forms of important documentation, textbooks, treatises, translations, reference
books and popular readings. The Press is responsible for compiling and
publishing the periodical China
Statistics and producing electronic publications for China Statistical Yearbook and for yearbook and for some principal
statistics for individual provinces.
China Statistics Press
adheres to its business ethics to ensure the excellence, instructiveness and
high quality of its publications and enjoys a high reputation for its
credibility. The Press was commended by the National Bureau of Statistics of
China in 1994 and conferred the title "Fine
Publisher" by the Press and Publications Administration of China for
three times.
