University of Freiburg of Germany Visited Statistical Education Centre of NBS

Ms. Zhang Guorong, member of Party Group, and Group Leader of Discipline Inspection Group of NBS interviewed Professor Thomas Gehrig and his colleagues of University of Freiburg, Germany.

Ms. Zhang Guorong firstly expressed acknowledgments to the University of Freiburg, which has made efforts fostered Chinese statistical specialists; secondly appreciated the University’s strictly management and precisely tuitions to the students of NBS, and provided all aspects services.

Ms. Zhang Guorong introduced personnel structure of China statistical system, relevant statistical goings such as census, tenement investigation, internet reports, etc., and quality control measures of enterprises data.

Germanic friends introduced Master of Economics foster project information developed by Department of Economic of University of Freiburg, the characteristics of this project is that combined knowledge of statistics, mathematics, management, information science, economics and other subjects, emphasis to foster the students’ application abilities.

Mr. Wang Jili, director-general, and Mr. Shi Zhanqian, deputy director-general of Statistical Education Center of NBS attended meeting.
