The 16th Meeting of APEC Expert Group on Energy Data and Analysis was Held in Beijing

The 16th Meeting of the APEC Expert Group on Energy Data and Analysis, which was undertook by National Bureau of Statistics of China was held in Beijing recently. Mr. Kenichi Matsui, president of Energy Data and Model Center of Asia Pacific Area presided the meeting. More than 20 representatives from Australia, Brunei, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Taipei, United States, and Vietnam attended the meeting. During the meeting, Mr. Zhu Xiangdong, vice commissioner of NBS held a banquet to all the representatives.

 

Mr. Ren Caifang, Director-general of Department of Industry and Transportation Statistics inaugurated the meeting. All the participants and experts from APEC Energy Data and Model Research Center and International Energy Organization discussed following issues: APEC energy statistics, monthly oil and gas data selection, new table format of energy data collection, and investigation report of APEC Energy Research Center.

 

Mr. Kenichi Matsui gave high evaluation on the achievement of the meeting, and appreciated the thoughtful arrangement made by NBS.
