The Programme Officer of Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) visited NBS

On February 24, 2005, Mr. Martin Schmidt, programme officer of Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) visited NBS. The purpose of Mr. Martin Schmidt’s visit is to understand the implementation of cooperative project between National Bureau of Statistics of China and Sweden Statistics Office, and provide advice for the next round of the cooperative project (2006―2010). Project members from Department of Population, Social Science and Technology Statistics, and Department of International Cooperation attended the meeting.

Mr. Martin Schmidt was satisfied with the implementation of the project, and expressed the willingness of cooperating with NBS in a broader way.
