During the training lecture, the foreign experts introduced some relevant information of using macro economic statistics to undertake the policy analysis and decision-makings, the main activities include: 1. Follow the international standard to undertake the macro economic statistics – the foundation of policy analysis and decision-making; 2. GDP: the core of macro economic statistics; 3. Using GDP estimation to undertake the policy analysis and decision-making: the estimation of value-added tax revenue; 4. Finance, monetary and statistics of external departments’ influences to the policy analysis and decision-making; 5. The existing problems of using macro economic statistics to undertake policy analysis and decision-making in the world.
