Assistant Secretary of United States Department of the Treasury Visited NBS

Mr. Xie Hongguang, Deputy Commissioner of NBS, met with a six-person delegation headed by Mr. Charles Collyns, Assistant Secretary for International Finance of United States Department of the Treasury on November 10.

On behalf of Mr. Ma Jiantang, Commissioner of NBS, Mr. Xie Hongguang welcomed the first delegation of United States Department of the Treasury. The Chinese side introduced the development of statistical works, reform on statistical systems, and the impacts of statistical works on China macro-economic policies. Both sides made communication and discussion on the common interested issues. 

Messers. Yao Jingyuan, Chief Economist, Du Weiqun, Deputy General-Director of Department of International Cooperation, Xu Yonghua, Deputy Counselor of Department of Statistical Design and Management, and Wang Wenbo, Deputy General-Director of Department of Comprehensive Statistics, attended the meeting.
